Jessa’s dryer ate her favorite sock. A boy with a guitar fished it out. "Happens to the best of us." He strummed a chord. "Name’s Leo." She hummed along. By closing time, they’d swapped life stories over suds and static cling. He left her his number on a dryer sheet: "For when your socks need a soundtrack."​
